Overhang / Undermount
Simmons standard range of sinks and troughs are moulded complete with a fixing flange in order to simplify fitment and to optimise the integrity of the joint with the worktop.
An overhang (underslung) sink is bonded and screwed to the underside of a worktop with the worktop slightly overhanging the sink opening. This type of fitment is also commonly referred to as 'underslung'. This fitment is adequate for many general laboratory applications.
The base of the sink slopes to a hole rebated to accept a waste fitting. Sinks can also be drilled to accept an overflow fitting. Simmons can supply sinks complete with a waste and overflow if requested.

Product Dimensions
All dimensions in millimetres.
Sizes shown are nominal. There can be slight variations from sink to sink due to the nature of epoxy resin.
Sink weights will vary with colour. Weights shown are for grey.
Outlet position assumes the sink is oriented with the longer side facing the front of the worktop.
Sinks are designed to accept a waste fitting - 73mm dia. flange / 1.5" BSP.
* Due to their weight and capacity, the SGR11, SEL16 & SVL15 sinks require additional support from beneath when fitted.
Sinks can also be drilled to accept an overflow fitting. Simmons can supply sinks complete with a waste and overflow if requested
